Get a QuickBooks Expert to Help with QuickBooks Setup

Yes, QuickBooks Software was designed for business owners –not accountants– to use and understand. However, the initial setup and installation should be done with the assistance of a trained CPA and QuickBooks Expert in order for your Balance Sheets, Income & Expense Statements and multitude of other handy Financial Reports to give you accurate and useful feedback.

There are a Lot of Questions That You Need to Answer

Here are a few for starters:

  • Which accounting method will you use?
  • What chart of accounts do you need for your business?
  • How detailed should it be?
  • How do you handle beginning balances?

A QuickBooks Expert and accountant can easily answer all of these questions – and assist you with the initial setup and installation. Quickly. Inexpensively.

You Should Have a QuickBooks Expert Help You, or Review Your Setup

All information and knowledge necessary to setup a manual accounting system is also necessary to setup and install a good, workable QuickBooks Installation on your desktop, server, or cloud (QuickBooks Online). QuickBooks setup can be even more complicated if you switch from a manual accounting system, or a kludged-together accounting system you’ve assembled using an odd assortment of invoicing programs, Excel Spreadsheet, Email, Word — or some other creative system that has finally become too difficult to manage — or to explain to your replacement or employees as your business grows.

You can come to our comfy offices with your laptop for the initial setup, or, if you are using QuickBooks Online provide us with “Accountant Access” so we can look over your shoulder. Call us at (855) 791-1950.

“It’s No Big Deal” — I’ll Setup QuickBooks on my Own…

“You can pay me now, or pay me later” – FRAM became known for its marketing slogan, “You can pay me now, or pay me later”, which is usually uttered in its television commercials by an auto mechanic, who explains to his customer that he can either pay a small sum now for the replacement of oil and filter or a far larger sum later for the replacement of the vehicle’s engine.

How much does it cost?

we would first want to find out a little more about your business and your accounting records before we quote you an exact price. That said, we have a new service: QuickBooks Tune-Up that I priced at $275. That service, at that price-point assumes us spending three (3) full hours reviewing and fixing multitudes of little issues that existing QuickBooks users don’t know about and will be blown-away by once we are finished. So that $275 is a rough estimate if you have a small business. If more complex, well, you know.

On the other hand, if you are a home-based small business: a 1099 contract consultant, a graphics designer, a web designer, a contractor, a pool cleaning service; a hair stylist, or other creative business owner with just a few people, we may be able to help you with your QuickBooks Setup for less. If you think about it, it is a good business decision on our part to be generous to you on our set-up fees, because then you’ll see the value of having a QuickBooks folks like us on your speed dial –and— it is more likely you’ll invite us back to prepare your tax returns at the end of the year. win-win!

Call us — (855) 791-1950. We offer free phone consultations and price quotes by phone. We are ‘bean counters’ — not a salespeople by any means, so there’s no need to feel apprehensive that we will “attempt to sell you” on services you don’t need or want. We are seasoned QuickBooks ProAdvisors and Experts willing to share our knowledge and experience.
